There is an even easier way to grease the u-joints. Your local parts store
should carry an adapter that's about 4" long, looks like a slim tube with a
tapered tip on it. It Threads onto your grease hose, and the tapered nose fits
up
against the check ball in the Zerk. Press firmly against the check ball and
pump the grease in. I've had mine long enough that I've forgotten the exact
name
of it. "Needle adapter" or Bearing Injector" or something like that. Low
cost. neat, clean, and easy.
