Thanks to all who responded to my question about getting more leg room by moving the gas pedal closer to the floor. I like Bob Lang's suggestion to move the position of the fulcrum point on the bell cranks. It worked really well, I think I got about two more inches of leg room, and I can now open the throttle all the way with the pedal much closer to the floor.
