Peter, by all means, do the Bosch conversion off of the 78-80 Ford Fiesta. I 
did it and it was the MOST simple thing I believe I have ever done to my TR 
besides put gas in it. 15 minute job. The Lucas plug plugs directly into 
this Bosch and no other mods. Even used my same belt. I have a 76. Now the 
turn signals work as they should every time, I even turned on the A/C, 
headlights on high beam, the wipers, the blower on the fan, and the radio 
while the turn signals were on and my digital voltmeter stayed at 13.5 
volts. Turn everything off, 13.7 volts.
