In addition to the many excellent suggestions in regard to Larry Brown's broken
rocker/bent pushrod problems I did not see any comments on the possibility that
the DPO may have installed non standard rockers with an inappropriate ratio.
This could cause spring binding and bent pushrods. Also, if the head was
milled and the DPO didn't get shorter push rods or shim the rocker pedestal
height you may encounter spring binding and/or bent pushrods. Of course this
should be obvious when you adjust your valves and find that the adjusters have
