Dave,

They were fairly easy to replace.  I followed the following instructions
that I got off of a Triumph web site:


Distributor Shaft Bushings - Need two 3/4" OD, 3/8" ID, 3/4" long oilite
bushings. Machine to 0.744 OD & 0.489 ID. Note how the drive flange is
mounted during disassembly. Freeze the bushings & install them with a 0.744"
diameter square end driver. Install 1" long 1/4" X 28 grease fitting for the
top bushing & another immediately below it & at a 90 degree angle to provide
lubrication for the tach drive bushing.

Anyone know the part number and a good source for dizzy shaft bushings?
Didn't see them pictured on page 269 of TRF's Green Book. Are they a
challenge to replace?
