How hard is it to replace the ring gear on the flywheel. I'm getting a lot more "skipping" on startup. I recall the gear had a worn spot, so the cause isn't too hard to figure out. I will probably have to pull the tranny this spring/summer to fix a leaky crank seal. I might as wll take the opportunity to put in my Gunst Throw-out etc. all at once. I am just sort of amazed that these engines always seem to stop in the same position. Is that normal? Mark Hooper 1972 TR6 |
