Cliff---Is the cam drive sprocket now off the crank shaft? If so, you can try a chisel and hammer to try persuading the key from the keyway. If the sprocket is covering most of the key, try coaxing the sprocket off with a puller, liberally oiling before hand. Sometimes this will break the bond between the two. The sprocket has to come off with the key still seated in the key way. At least that's been my experience. Dick CF11143 |
