Brad---If in doubt about the cam timing marks, use the "on the rock"
method as described in the Bentley manual, and some others. This is when
both #11 & 12 valves are open the same amount. You'll probably find that
this will also agree with the center punch marks on the crank sprocket
and cam sprocket alignment.
I don't think the illustration of the "mill slot" is correct when using
their written proceedure. Seems more like it should be 4:45 on the
clock, rather than 3:55.
Have others noticed this??
