Cliff---I recently took off the large (3/4"?) bolt that holds the crank extension. Not wanting to fire up the compressor to snap this 1-1/8" bolt (head) free, I was able to break it loose with a regular socket on a breaker bar, and used a pipe wrench on the extension. Worked like a charm! The damper pulley came off with a nudge, but the crank sprocket and oil seal sleeve required a puller to get it past the key. Dick '73 |
