Jay, & Bob---Not as "safe" as an impact-type fuel shutoff that we find on most new car designs, one can still rig up something simple for an electronic pump. This can be done by connecting the ground wire for the pump to the oil pressure switch terminal. In the event of a collision that (usually) would kill an engine, the pump would also stop, as oil pressure drops to zero. Simple and effective. Definitely cheap! Dick |
