I didn't even have the interior back in the car before she left.
Anybody want an automatic tranny for a TR6

Why couldn't she have left before you did all the work on the tranny! Bet
the 6 was dying a thousand deaths with the conversion.

Same thing happened to me. I bought a great TR6 with only 33000 original
miles on the clock. This was to be converted to an automatic for the wife.
She ran off with a high school boyfriend just after the conversion.
Converted the car back to a stick and sold it. I was sadder after the car
was
gone! By the way driving a TR without shifting is a very strange feeling.

There's always a silver lining. I originally bought the TR to restore for my
wife. However, she ran off with a pediatrician before I could get around to
doing it. She, of course, took the most expensive car, but I got the TR.
Thank you, God.
