    it's been many years since i've done that so i consulted the bentley
manual.
the diagram at section 80.25.07 SEEMS to show the longest pipe oriented
higher than the shorter one and closer to the firewall. after inspecting my
own
car (damn it's cold in the garage!), it is consistent with the book diagram.
    the longer one is closer to the firewall.
