I bought a rear sway bar a year or so and installed it per instructions
which included securing the ends to the rear sway bar through the center of
the spring hole with a long bolt and several large washers. I have since
noted that the ends of the sway bar move around quite a bit and it looks
like some type of bushing is needed to fill the hole from the outside of the
bolt to the inside of the spring hole. A friend who has a machine shop has
offered to make one for me from a round piece of teflon. Is there some
reason that the manufacturer didn't provide a bushing for this piece besides
the "cheaper" reason. Is this a reasonable addition to improve the
performance of the swaybar or will a piece of this sort restrict the
movement of the sway bar? Is such a part already available out there?
