I actually do not recall how they found them. I would guess that it was
visual though.
Either way, if you hit big potholes on the road or generally beat on your
car, you should be checking the wheels for cracks. Oh - and if you have
stock TR6 rims you should also check for cracks (particularly around the
wheel attachment holes!).
