I pretty much blasted mine, painted them with base coat and 3 coats of
clear. They look amazing with new rings. I know paint doesn't last as long
but I don't drive my car in the rain nor in the winter. I say, I saved a lot
of money to buy other things. But $30.00 is a hell of a deal.

Subject: Re: Powder coating steel wheels
I had my TR3 wheels recently done at a local shop. 5 wheels at $80 each.
They were media blasted and double coated to even out any imperfections.
Standard silver which matched the original color. A real good job. looking
at $30, that's a real bargain. I would like to see the final finish against
mine. Maybe I paid too much, but I am satisfied. I know how long it takes to
blast parts!
