Wayne---Some or your questions about the S2 cam were nicely answered by Vance. In short, the S2 offers more performance than the stock cam that comes standard in the carbureted version of the TR engine. (It does this by holding the valves open longer) For more info on this, pick up a copy of Kastner's Competition Preparation Manual for the TR6, available from TRF and other suppliers. Neat charts showing power improvements, based on what's done to the engine (and chassis). Well worth the $8. Dick |
