apple hydraulics, feedback?

some years ago I had an unsatisfactory experience with Apple Hydraulics
regarding carburetor rebuilds that eventually resulted in them giving me a
complete refund (which, of course, was good). 

Has anybody on the list had experiences with them regarding the rebuilding
of cylinders, shocks, etc. and (of greatest interest to me) re-boring carb
bushings?
