Hi to the list,
I bought my first TR6 last summer, a 74 1/2. It's a rolling fixer upper, but
has been loads of fun. I've been reading with interest, and learning a lot
form the list since then. My car came with '72 seats installed, and the
tattered remains of the originals along side, and I have to admit they are
very comfortable. I have taken the car on many all day excursions and been
very happy with the seating. The TRF catalog I just received still shows the
center console, replica of the AMCO dealer supplied accessory, am I correct
in assuming that they are no longer available ?

I purchased an adjustable arm rest with integral storage compartment from JC
Whitney. The fit and appearence in my TR6 is surprisingly good. Comes in
black or blue vinyl. Now my right shoulder is comfortable on long trips. I
also purchased a padded left arm rest that sticks in when the window is
rolled down. Looks good, but less utility. Admittedly, I'm not entering any
concours events!
Now, I yearn for seats offering comfort and good positioning. Ideas? The
new leather seats from England in VB/Moss Europe look good, but price is an
ouch! I'm thinking about re-building a set of 70-72 TR6 seats for my 73, as
I've heard they're the best of the bunch. Thoughts and opinions?
With thanks,

I sent them an e-mail as to price and availability. I'll pass on
anything I find out. I'd like to have one too.
