Question of the day... Last year I started getting a slight engine vibration
as I hit 3000 RPM. All clearance were check while I had this motor apart
recently. All rotating goodies were balanced a few years ago. I would not
think things would "unbalance" themselves. I am thinking one of the
possibilities is that the damper is starting to give up. I was thinking of
trying another damper to rule this out. My question is, when the crank is
balanced do they do it with the damper installed or is the damper balanced
separately. Comptune in Ohio did the work but since they closed up shop I
cant go back and ask them very well.
Any thoughts?
