Listers,
I have (3) nit-picking detail questions. No, my car is not concours, but
I'd like to
know what's correct.
1. A 1975 factory sales brochure shows the fuel filler cap "turned" at an
angle as
opposed to parallel to the trunk/body seam as mine currently is. I have
seen
them both ways at car shows. Which is correct ?
2. What orientation should the triangle on the hazard knob have ? Point up
? down?
3. The same brochure shows a heavy, plated/polished trim moulding on the
outside
of the soft top where it attaches to the body. It is not the piece that
secures the
top to the body. All photos are of left-hand drive models. I've never
seen this
moulding. Can anyone explain ?
Thanks to all who respond. I am relatively new to the list. It is quite
entertaining and
informative. How 'bout them Mets ?
Regards,
Vic Snively
