Looking for some wisdom.
I recently attempted to order a Pertronix Ignitor direct from
Pertronix. (Gift Certificate for my 69 GT6+). When I called and told
them I needed an ignitor for a Delco D204. Their reply was "which one"?
They also read off additional #'s to look for. They were:
"D204-7953945"
"D204-7992101"
I went out to the car. Using some carb cleaner and a scotch pad I
cleaned the # off to reveal:
D204-7953547 For sure!!!??? On the return call.... Pertronix does not
list this dist.#? Although they said one or the other ignitors for D204.
Could/might work? But did not know which one? If I had to guess...
D204-7953945, as more #'s match.... But I would like to be sure.
Any help would be appreciated!
