Jerry, Get a local shop to rebuild it. There's nothing mysterious about a Lucas starter and any good electrical shop should be able to do the job cheaper than buying a "rebuilt" unit from LBC houses. Jim Davis Fortson, GA CF38690UO CF37325U To all listers I've got a bad starter in my '75 TR6, so am looking for remanufactured Lucas S2116 jobs. I've not checked brushes and other obvious stuff, yet, but wanted to get some feedback. Any recommendations? Thanks, Jerry Shaw '74 TR6 Saphire Blue CF20490U '75 TR6 BRG CF39873U |
