Finally, It's Alive! Got the 6 running and drove it from the garage where I store it in winter to the house. Major problem after getting the spark fixed was the timing. It was so far off I had to disconnect the tach cable to get it to run. Also as I accelerate it misses and occasionally blows back through the carbs. Timing does advance as the engine speed increases but something is still not correct. Any other thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks to all. |
