No, but you can still get a free hotmail account.  My guess is MS will be
happy to drive people to their site and eat the minimal cost of email
servers for a while longer.

Sorry for the off topic post, but I'm sure many of you can offer the
advice I'm looking for.  Yahoo has decided to start charging for
e-mail service.  It's a low yearly fee, but I am totally disinclined
to pay for e-mail unless that is truly industry standard.  Can anybody
recommend a good free e-mail service that is not likely to change the
rules?
