I ask this about a week ago without any response so I'll try again!

I'm installing a new interior in my '73. There is a plastic coated spring
about 2" long (TRF #CZA4713) that slides into the bracket on the seat frame
that holds the head rest support and is held in with a piece of linen tape.
It apparently provides the tension on the head rest support that allows it
to be adjusted at various heights. None of the big three suppliers seem to
have it.

Does anyone know a source for this spring?

Is there an alternative someone could suggest?

I don't want to put my seats back together without resolving this problem.

Thanks,

Tim Boesken
