Hugh,
You can use the TR4 fingerpull. You must enlarge the hole in the
glovebox door. It is the only reliable way to get the damn thing open on
a lot of cars. (Yes, I've had some work just fine, but others , aside
from re-working the dash, just don't co-operate!)
