I'm looking for a low-cost method to assemble an air/fuel measurement system. I can get a gauge from Summit Racing for $30 and an oxygen sensor from Whitney for $22. Add a few bucks for a weld in bung and the whole thing is around $60. The least expensive complete system I could find was about $130. I have 2 questions for the list. Can I mix and match sensors and gauges, or will there be a compatibility problem? Is there any advantage to a platinum tip or is that just a gimmick? TIA, Peter '68 TR250 |
