I have my $0.02 to add; If you look carefully at your original
radiator, you will note that the finning is very different to
what the radiator shop will recore your radiator with. I have
no idea about the aftermarket radiators, but I doubt if they
would match the original finning either.
The original finning is available, but at extra cost. Your local shop
can do it, but he will have to do a bit of research to track it down
and ship. This is important if you are building a 10-point concourse
car, and must adhere to originality.
IMHO, aluminum radiators for $350 from McCullogh Radiators in
Wisconsin look bitchin'. :)
