205/70-15 are closest to actual size, but for a bit more performance
with minimal change in overall diameter (and therefore not much change
in speedo accuracy), go with a 205/65-15. The shorter sidewall will
improve steering feel and cornering, and you can get more aggressive
tire compounds in this size. I recommend checking out the Tirerack
(www.tirerack.com). Great website, and very knowledgeable tech staff.
I bought a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE-930 tires in 205/65-15 size.
They stick like glue, work well in rain and snow, and look great. And
they were only $65 per tire.
