parts speedo

Hi all,
Does anyone know a company thats willing to sell spare parts for my Smiths
speedo? I have contacted about ten company's by now. They are all very willing
to repair the complte speedo for about $ 200-300, but nobody want's to deliver
me the little gear/driveshaft I need. The argument they use is we don't sell
spare parts. I know the speedo is working fine! So I don't want the complete
rebuild.
