Hi All,

I've gutted the interior of the TR6, but am still left with the
glue (and pieces of insulation stuck to the glue) from the carpet.
How does one remove this completely? I have scraped most of it off,
but seeing that I am going to spray the interior with zylatone, I would
like nothing but metal remaining.

What sort of tips to folk have to offer with regard to removing the
glue? I note too that there are thick tarry sheets glued/tarred to the
rear floor panels. How to remove this?

For folk interested in where this is taking me, the car has been
the long-suffering patient of a large weight-reduction program. My
TR6 is not being built as a race car, but a lightweight roadster.
Now that the interior has been stripped, there is nothing else to pull
off that car but start replacing panels with alloy/carbon fibre.

Thanks in advance,

Shane Ingate in Maryland
