Prop Shaft

I was thinking of putting a Stainless Steel Sports Exhaust on my Six. Then I
remembered that the U joints have not been replaced. I took out the old
exaust. I removed all the nuts and  bolts from both the transmission end and
the Differential end. But I cannot seem to remove the shaft out of that area.
Any secrets here. Please dont tell me I have to unbolt the differential as
well.
