Folks, I am typing this with TR 6 dirt on my hands so excuse the dirt.
Decided to do some spring cleaning of the interior of my TR 6 today.
Vacuuming, wiping, spraying, tossing and lifting. When doing the lifting in
the passenger side, I thought I would straighten the carpeting a bit and
pulled the carpet off the transmission cover. I discovered a hole big
enough to put my foot through. Obviously I need a new transmission cover.
Until I get it do you have any ideas of a good temporary fix? I was
thinking of a piece of sheet metal bent to fit. Good thing it hasn't rained
here in a long time.
