Bill---I'm all for feeling comfortable about what's going on with the cars we drive. It seems like I can never remember whether I did the final torquing of the wheel lug nuts after the car is back on the ground. So I probably do it three times for every time a wheel is removed. (However, this could be a senior thing!) I guess my question is whether one actually found that these head bolt/nuts NEEDED the retorquing? DT |
