Anyone know how to test a brake booster to see if it is working properly? The obvious answer is to remove the vacuum hose, plug and notice the difference in operation, but mine feels as if it works intermittently and at less than full boost at times. If faulty, can the average, or in my case below average home mechanic repair them? Or should they be sent to a specialist, and if so are there any recommendations?
