Bob---One more thing just came to mind on this. If water is getting into the oil, it won't show up on the dipstick right away. IF water continues to come into the sump, eventually the oil level will rise and show up on the 'stick. (The water will stay on the bottom of the sump.) If you have a young nephew, have him take out and quickly reattach the drain plug. 8~) The water should show up in the sampling. DT |
