I purchased a new rear center bumper for my '72 about two years ago from 
Victoria British...when I got it, it looked sort of okay at first until I 
looked closer and found that the chrome was very thin and that it could be 
peeled if you picked at it with your fingernail...I sent it back and had my 
original one rechromed and the dent taken out of it...it cost only $50 more 
than the new one...FWIW.
