Subject: Adhesive

I just had a new top installed and notice that the verlco (?) on the top
frame is "ratty" and would like to replace it. What type of adhesive should
be used?

I really like the cloth top; however, I notice that dirt seems to cling. Has
anyone tried treating the fabric with anything like "Scotchguard?"
