Front diff mount repair

Dear Listers,

    I recently learned that my six has suffered a failure of the RT front
diff mount.  I have ordered a repair kit from TRF, but I don't trust my
welding skills to get it installed correctly.  Can anyone recommend a
competent welder on Long Island, in New York who may have experience with
this repair?  Has anyone paid to have this repair done?  How much should it
cost?
