TR6 Electronic Ignition

>From what I have read and heard, Electronic Ignition is a very good thing if 
you like driving as opposed to pushing, towing, and tinkering (BTDT).  A 
friend recommended Crane which I saw in a Moss catalog.  Also in the Moss is 
an Ignitor unit for less money - (hides inside the distributor?).  
Any words of wisdom?  Thanks in advance.
