I believe that the head will fit onto any TR6 block. But will your head
manifold  fit the new head. As there was a change in 73 to a double exhaust the
head manifold is different. I believe the porting of the manifold and the
corresponding holes in the gasket are different. Check it out before doing
anything. Hope I was able to help.
