As no one else seems to by replying this is my input.

The spin off filter attachment is to allow a filter with a non-return valve
to be fitted.
I don't think that any of the products incorporate their own non-return
valve as this would most likely restrict the oil flow. You can normally tell
an non-return oil filter as there is a rubber flap over the outlet.

In my experience the clips over the brake cylinders are a swine. If they get
bent they will either snap off or fall out.
I have two methods either of which seems to work in the end.

The first is to enter both ends of the circlip in the groove and push it in
with one screwdriver whilst holding one of the ends with another screwdriver
so that is does not spin all the way round. It's very easy to slip and jab
the screwdriver into your wrist!

The other is to walk the circlip down the body a millimetre at a time each
side. Once I have done this with hand pressure but if you use tools it is
all too easy to flatten the circlip and then it is useless.

Hope this helps
