Here's a question for pre-engaged owners!!! I've had the PI's starter motor pulled apart to check everything over and give it a good clean, and now that I've got the thing back in one piece I need to check the end-float in the armature. The manuals say that I need to use a 6volt battery for this! Is there any problem with using the cars 12volt. I wouldn't have thought there would be as the starter's getting power straight from the battery anyway, any ideas?? Thanks a lot Dave Watson /// /// 2000-register@autox.team.net mailing list /// |
