Dizzy cap interchangeability

A quick question, friends. The 'Old Bitch' is having a touch of the vapours. I 
recently
fitted a new dizzy cap and rotor arm and got all six running - hitherto only 
five were
awake. Can anyone confirm whether the Lucas dizzy caps and rotor 25D (with 
vernier) and
45D (without) are interchangeable? We have new plugs, leads and all the other
'erlectrical' systems in place but I still have a nagging doubt ...
