Hi Mike, I'm using black 'POR 15' paint on my 2.5PI's suspension parts, it's made in the USA by PPC (Permanent Painted Coatings). It's very tough and it doesn't get chipped by stones and it will stand up to oil etc etc. It costs NZD$58.00 for a litre, which covers around 9.2 meters squared. I hope this is of some help.
