 OD with OD leg in a vice. As the last two notes advised-do not try to do =
it in the car-it will never align or you will damage the bronze bushing in =

lining up the sun wheel, planet carrier and roller clutch using the tool =
that Michel mentioned. You can also use a screwdriver as described in the =
workshop manual. In my experience it is extremely difficult to keep =
everything aligned when trying to mate the OD to the transmission with it =
in the car. Any slight movement of the driving flange, the part that bolts =
to the drive shaft, misaligns the internal components such that the third =
motion shaft cannot complete enter the OD.</span></p>

the OD out of my BJ7. Now for getting the new one installed. I found two =
rings sitting on the output shaft which I believe are fitted to the adapter=
 plate. (See pics attached). The problem is going to be how to keep them in=
 place while maneuvering the new OD into place. I was thinking of using =
either white lithium grease or wheel bearing grease.&nbsp;</span></p>
